Founded in 1972, NAD was estabished by a group of audio importers located in Europe that had one goal - develop and design products that cut through the hype which is all too common in the industry. Far too few products existed in the spectrum between low quality imports from the major electronic companies and high-quality products from reputable manufacturers that are unaffordable to most.

Some of their most successful models over the years include the NAD 3020 amplifier, NAD 6100 cassette deck, and NAD 5200 premium CD player. The legacy and success of these products informs every aspect of their current offerings.
