The Music Hall MMF-5.3 is a big improvement over the original MMF-5. The dual-plinth chassis helps to prevent motor vibrations from interfering with the stylus/record interface by isolating the critical sound reproducing components. Viso-elastic cones separate the two platforms and provide vibration damping. The MMF-5.3 also has a dynamically balanced platter, an upgraded tonearm, gold-plated RCA jack outputs to be used with any phono cable, new vibration damping adjustable feet and a contoured dustcover.

The MMF-5.3 is a plug and play design you can have up and running in 10 minutes. The MMF-5 will make an analog believer out of the most doctrinaire digital fanatic. The distinctive design isolates the critical sound reproducing components; platter, main bearing, tonearm, and cartridge on the top platform from the motor, switch, wiring, and feet which are mounted on the bottom platform. The Music Hall MMF-5.3 also comes with a great sounding Ortofon 2m Blue already pre-mounted on the tonearm. The table is finished in a high-gloss Piano Black finish.
